Yes, that's right. The Democratic Party is using images of US troops being attacked by terrorists to make political points against John McCain.

How does the DNC think this ad is gonna help anyone?

So then you would have no problem with the DNC using video of American citizens being beheaded or of their corpses being dragged thru the streets?

I personally wouldn't.... but I'm not that sensitive... I could separate the point from the image... I realize most couldn't and therefore would not recommend it....

Maybe the RNC will follow up with some scenes of an exploded suicide bomber and the aftermath. To remind people why we are there now.

John McCain, and only John McCain, is capable of ending suicide bombing in every country forever. Regular bombing you ask? Poisonous gas, gunfire? Don't push it, pal. One instrument of terror at a time. We'll worry about that, and also pansyass domestic issues, eight years from now. Though we may have to ask China's permission.

Exactly, I mean, we don't have much grabby media from inside Iraq before we got there, and it wasn't me, but my American brothers and sisters went pretty crazy after 9/11, started holding certain people/things in a state of approval, so I mean if someone wants to say 'I changed my mind" but I'm not going to say it for 'em.

What it amounts to is the Libs seeing the writing on the walls as it relates to their adorable little case, drawing a line in the sand, and taking cheap shots to make it stick. Reminds me of PETA, with the ugly theatrics, acting like their cause is so great the norms of society don't apply (hey, it happens) but then taking the moral high ground to media and courts and mass sentiment as soon it suits their blond-dread-locked cause, like when some harangued blue collar joins them outside of societal norms and roughs one of 'em up.

I've worked out a test for this, for those with limited vision for the aesthetic - if ever one can say, of such as in this case the DNC, that 'them's trying to hand out speeding-tickets at the Indy 500' - the tasteless-hypocritical-theatrics boolean, hypothesized to be '0' becomes '1'...

I am curious as to where the clip is that shows American's actually being blown up or killed as your link claims MM.

There is a brief clip of US soldiers and what may be an explosion as the clip ends. No video of anyone "blowing up" or "being killed."

We don't know from the clip if it is an IED or if anyone is even injured by it.

This is what the RNC is capable of. THE BIG LIE. With George's Cluster fu*k responsible for most of what ails us as a country, Im not surprised that the RNC is attempting to look like fools. I really believe that they want to lose this election so they can play a "blame game" on the new resident of 1600.

McCin is his own worse enemy. Hes admittedly ignorant of anything economic, so what does he have to peddle?

Hows Operation Chaos going?

A war is better conducted and support is better garnered through manipulating little details like truth.
When people have to see caskets unloaded, they don't want to envision the dripping meat contained within so it is wrapped in a flag.
When the caskets begin arriving by the dozen, they need to prevent the country from even seeing them.

The Republicans have long attempted to paint everyhing in Iraq with a rose colored brush and the American public have long bought the sales pitch. God forbid they be reminded of the facts of the matter.

OBL attacked the US, not Iraq. Perhaps they should remind America with a picture of the man Bush claims to " not spend that much time on..."

Afghanistan harbored AQ and OBL, not Iraq. Perhaps America needs to be shown a map of the middle east.

The 9/11 terrorists were Saudi, not Iraqi. Perhaps those passports should be shown to all of America with the person's country highlighted.

The American government, when republicans had complete control, Rumsfeld told the soldiers they sent into harms way to "go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time". Perhaps this is a soundbite that should be played over and over on the MSM.

This war is and always has been an illprepared, poorly though out, even more poorly executed, fraud. Many on the right defend the war and it's continued ugliness as inherent to what wars are....but find it objectionable when the horrors of war are brought to your doorstep.

So, show a picture of the suicide bomber in Iraq McG...and have a caption below of why he is doing what he is doing....or maybe some rhetorical question about his "employment" as a suicide bomber and whether or not he'd have a job if the US wasn't over ******* **** up in Iraq.

An explosion that close to unprotected ground troops, someone got severly hurt or killed.
If you had been around something like that you would know.

How do they know these US troops were attacked by terrorists? The attacks against the US troops in Iraq are being carried out by and large by anti-occupation nationalist insurgents.

Really? and what exploded? And how do you know from the video what it was that exploded?

It could be dust from a shell hitting a wall falling down several feet away from all I can see on the video. There is no evidence anyone was injured let alone killed as claimed.

As for your claim these troops were "unprotected", are you saying this is a video of US troops that were sent in by Bush without the body armor they should have had?

No, and you are smart enough to know what I meant, so stop playing stupid.
Ground troops, outside of an armored vehicle, are easily hurt or killed by an explosion that close, no matter how much body armor they are wearing.
If you lok at the video, you can see they are wearing body armor, but body armor does not protect arms, legs, or the head.

Well if people are so concerned about it maybe we should bring them the f*ck home instead of bitching that someone has the audacity to put it in a commercial.

Jesus, that makes me mad. See, the Republicans don't give a damn if the people actually have to die. They don't care if the soldiers are actually getting blown up; you never hear a word of complaint about that whatsoever. But, put something suggestive in a commercial?

Sacrilege!

What a crock of ****

So, can you link to your complaints, or those of any war supporter, about people actually being killed? Do you even understand how hollow your position is, that you care more about a commercial then the lives of people?
