Hi!

Could you please translate the following into Latin for me.

"She flies by her own wings"

The phrase I have is "alis Volat propris" Is this even close to correct?

Please help. I need an answer by Tuesday at the VERY VERY LATEST!!!

"Alis volat propriis" (note the double-i) is the state motto of Oregon.

Do NOT use Jaden11's translation.

The oregan state seal does not have an "R" in it.
It says "Alis Volat Propiis" (no second r)
Which is correct?

Just to be clear...

I was wrong. The motto of Oregon is "She Flies with Her Own Wings" in
English.

This motto had been translated into Latin for the territorial seal before
Oregon was a state.

That motto does not appear on the state seal, which bears the words "The
Union".
