I just saw that video. Great answer from Obama. It is exactly this kind of **** that Obama is trying to get rid of in politics, and exactly the kind of **** that Clinton and McCain are embracing. The tried and true dirty politics of the past versus the issue-based politics of the future, right here on dislplay. We'll see if the public is smart enough to figure out which works better for the country.

I especially enjoyed the part where he said something to the effect of,"Americans are smarter than that". That statement is not all true but there are some that are indeed smarter than these gossipy and topics, for instance, on this forum.

And here's Hillary once again (on a Fox news station, no less) showing that she doesn't give a damn about getting rid of the gossipy bullshit, as long as it helps her out:

What a phony

People are certainly, by some abomination of nature, drawn toward trash and gossip than that which is legitimate news.
Witness the attention to Britney's chooch, Useless Hilton, and all these other fake news celebrities. Witness also the irrelevant dirt that was slung during the 2000 and 2004 elections.

Bush went 7 1/2 years being the most moronic president the US has ever and will likely ever see. His party authored the book and perfected the craft of dirty (and highly irrelevent) politiking. I think the train wreck that the republicans are trying to orchestrate is, in part, not only being rejected by Obama, but also the America public.

I think it's high time Americans do as Obama is doing, and take the moral high road on these non-issues and fake news stories....but not to ignore them. He needs to continue taking the non-isses head on and painting them as immature, partisan, sub-intellectual, drivel. This will in turn make the purveyors of the fake news stories appear immature, partisan and sub-intellectual.

In much mmore eloquent terms he's saying "f*ck all you dirty a*s f*uckfaces who think this bullsh*t means anything in the big picture of MY PRESIDENCY.

I hope McCain sees the dirty way she's playing and observes the rejectionist stance America is taking to it and decides to take the high road against Obama after he gets the nomination.

Exactly because if he ignores those sub-topics altogether, some on the intertubes will say and have already said that he is avoiding the issue, he is hiding something. So he is balancing it perfectly at the moment....hope he can keep it up.
