1. Jane isn't here. I think Tarzan isn't here, either.

2. Jane isn't here. I don't think Tarzan is here, either.


The first sentence is Ok (or is it?). But in the second one, who/what are you agreing with?
pls explain, thanks

Both are fine. Neither one is calling for agreement. The first sentence in each example is a statement. The second is an opinion.

The second example seems a bit more likely to be used.
