Well, and then there about the same time on plane ...
Hang in there, Dag.
Bicycle, disassemble yourself!
Today is for cleaning. And packing the rest of her stuff. The plan is to make another run to the recycling center and have lunch out as well.
8 hours left til take off.
@sozobe,

@dagmaraka,
Waaah!
Have a good flight, write soon, be well.
@dagmaraka,

Which means you'll be heading for the airport shortly. Have a good flight,
and all the best wishes for a new beginning in The Hague, dagmar. Hopefully, you'll have internet connection as soon as possible to get the latest report from The Hague.
veel geluk en tot ziens!
Man, that was hard. There was so much to do for both of us before Dasha left that we were kept busy. I know I was sort of melancholy about her leaving all summer, but I didn;t get really sad until I dropped her at the airport.
We had to drop off suitcases at her office in Boston for others to bring when they go for a conference in Europe this fall. There was a Red Sox game and it was move-in weekend for al the Boston University students. The streets of Cambridge were like a ghost town, the streets around BU were like molasses. And there was no where to turn around to abort the suitcase mission either. So, she made it to the airport 10 minutes before boarding for an international flight. I called when I got home, she made it and was walking into the airplane as we spoke. She said she will try to get online in Dublin during her lay-over. If not then, it'll be from Den Haag.
I cried all the way home and if I don't distract myself, I cry here too. Where's my damn wine?
@Walter Hinteler,
Whoa! Go well, Dagglepuss!
You 'K, 'k?
@littlek,
Goodbye and new adventures to lovely dag...
Hugs Lil'K.
Oh sweetie. Call us if you need us.
@jespah,
I figure it's about six hours to Dublin..
may the wind be at your back, Dags.
@littlek,
It's always harder on the ones who are left behind and have to get back into
the empty house, isn't it? We're here with you, littlek - take out the wine
and start drinking!
