18th/19th Century Oil Painting, Please help identify

Can anyone help identify this oil painting? It has darkened with age, and doesn't appear to have any signatures. It's probably German or Dutch, and approximately 24"l x 18"h unframed. Any info, educated guesses or otherwise, are appreciated.

@Sabine427,
Without a signature it's hard to say.

It vaguely reminds me of some of the works churned out from Joachim Beuckelaer, a Flemish painted in the 1500s (16th century).

@Sturgis,
Thanks. Perhaps it's older than I thought. There is definitely no signature on it, I've looked. I think some of the "aging" is from nicotine--so much smoking in previous years. :-)
