I was 14... we had riots in my neighborhood... I remember being locked down in my apt. and the Ohio National guard outside....

I was at home (living in Tororonto at the time). I first heard it on the news and was shocked and saddened by the event.

Actually, it must have been pretty close to the moment I was conceived. King was assassinated exactly nine months and one day before I was born. And my mother always told me I was a day or two late. I'd ask my parents for details, but they tend to be tight-lipped in matters of, um, being fruitful and multiplying.

Hmmm .... Considering that conception happens after the mother's last menstrual period, your information would seem to be consistent with my claim, no?

I don't remember where I was when M. L. King or Robert Kennedy were assanated. But I remember I was at work on afternoons,3:00 to 11:00, when John Kennedy was killed.
