About dealing with math...I think I know what you mean. I've had to learn a lot just to help my son with his homework. You try something, if it doesn't work you try something different, and keep experimenting until you finally find a way that works. That much is the same, regardless of the kid. Glad to hear it's all going so well! I really admire you for taking this on.
A special thanks to you, Eva, for the karate recommendation! Those guys really *are* great with kids and according to my mom, are especially understanding with Nephew.
