I have read conflicting reports about the safety of Hydrogen Peroxide 3% used as a mouthwash. My dentist, when asked, was vague in his reply. Does anyone have any info. Thank you. Question

I have read that the typical peroxide sold in stores is not good for a mouthwash, even though some weaken it and use it. There is a food grade hydrogen peroxide, which I often use for that purpose.
