over 4 millions of our residents without electricity

I don’t know the verdict of the rest of my countrymen, but I’d still like to find out what could have really caused recent massive power outrage in my native state of Florida that left over 4 millions of our residents without electricity and led to real chaos on local roads.
Well, as usual DOI Press Secretary has hastened to report that this “incident” is not related to terrorism. But why on earth could not such largest supplier of electricity in this country as Florida Power & Light Company name any reason of the loss of power from Miami to Jacksonville yet?
It surely can’t be an ordinary accident or test of the system, because power down in Florida has led to stopping of nuclear reactors at the nuclear power plant in Turkey Point. Just think of it! 8 local thermal power plants went offline at the same time! Either power service in our cities is less reliable than in the cities in Latin America, or (it is more realistic to suppose) it was the result of the next terrorist attack, which was successfully conducted by Islamic radicals at our territory!
Anyhow it testifies that now our authorities are absolutely forceless to guarantee the security of own citizens on their native land…

Reading this, and the rest of your rambling post, i don't for a moment believe that you are a native of the state of Florida. The only way one could accept such a contention would be if you left Florida before you learned language, and only came to learn English much later in life.

Aren't you, in fact, just here to stir the turd?

What sometimes happens is that one power plant will trip, for whatever reason. The grid sees a drop in output exactly the same as in increase in load. In fact, what it sees is a short circuit, and other plants trip out in response. A really quick board operator can pull a plant off line without letting it shut down, but quick means very quickly indeed.

For sure, Eric's keyboard doesn't have English as native language - actually, not even a language with Latin letters
