@H2O MAN,
I see that you have chosen another popular conservative meme as your default. Whatever makes it easier on your tiny brain is fine by me.

Spot on!

"You pseudo intellectual liberals despise individualism & conservatism and you accuse those you disagree with you of being ignorant.
When your ideas are challenged you insult people, their ideologies, concepts, principles and ideas without offering an alternative idea."

Ican's comments are in blue

What makes their positions on many issues is their ability to find fault with everything Obama has done, but have not provided one idea on solutions.

Cice, that's FALSE! We have repeatedly posted many ideas on solutions. Your problem is that you have been ignoring our posted ideas on solutions.

We have advocated that Obama stop emulating the equivalent of Roosevelt's's failed domestic policies and programs. In particular, I have advocated:
(1) Reduce federal spending by eliminating those programs and policies which violate the Constitution;
(2) Reduce taxes and establish a flat income tax on all dollars of gross incomes;
(3) Eliminate federal prohibitions against domestic oil drilling;
(4) Maintain secret voting in union elections;
(5) Amend the Constitution to permit large majorities of the States to override USSC judicial decisions;
(6) Remove federal government from funding and drecting public education institutions;
(7) Require all voters to obtain and subsequently present photographic registration cards before voting;
(8) Eliminate illegal immigration.
... just to name a few.

They're being called the "no" party for good reason.

Cice, that's FALSE! It is the Obama statists--parasites, enviers, and authoritarians--who are the "no" party. They are opposed to obeying the constitution as written and amended.

Look at the republican committee members on Sotomayor's nomination to the supreme court; they point out one statement she made to tell everybody she's not qualified without actually looking at her record.

Cice, that's FALSE! Republican committee members are looking at Sotomayor's judicial decision record and are determining that much of it has been overruled by the USSC.

The WASP members are hurt that Sotomayor has the guts to tell them she's more capable of making better decisison because of her background. A Hispanic woman does have a more diverse background than a white male; get over it! At least show us evidence that she doesn't if you disagree.

Cice, that's FALSE! Republican members of Congress are disgusted with Sotomayor's advocacy that the law be interpreted according to one's feelings rather than according to one's understanding of the law.[/size]

1. You have identified no programs that actually violate the constitution. You have only made up what you think is in the constituiton.
2. A flat tax doesn't change the spending. Reducing taxation only increased the deficit. Someone in 2nd grade could tell you that one ican. You don't seem to understand it.
3. Most of the prohibitions against drilling are from states.
4. No one has proposed eliminating the secret ballot. (RW propaganda keeps making that claim in spite of the facts. You are nothing but a RW tool that prefers propaganda to facts it seems.
5. The states currently have that ability. It's called the amendment process. You might try reading it
6. You mean get rid of "No Child Left Behind"?
7. A violation of states rights since states control the voting in each state. Some states do require photo ID.
8. LOL.. Why doesn't the federal government just prevent all crime? What utter nonsense to expect the government to eliminate one sort of crime.

That has to be one of the stupidest comments you have ever made ican. Once again you prove you are incapable of simple math.

Sotomayor has ruled on over 3000 cases. I don't know about your definition of "much" but 5 out of 3000 isn't "much" in my book or in most American's. But then I guess you aren't like most Americans, are you ican?

@parados,
And while ican perused Sotomayor's record, he should have also noticed that the charges being made by the conservatives that she's decided all her cases as a liberal is false. That she would take a liberal position on the supreme court is about as stupid as the fear-mongering by the conservatives; she alone cannot decide any case in the supreme court.

@parados,
A fine example that points up why many don't bother to refute right wingnut ideas. You might say that it would be better to exhibit some patience but these aren't kids, they are adults, ... at least I think they are.

To ican, .0016% is "much." Just wondering where he learned math or logic.

@JTT,
The problem JTT is that if it isn't refuted they claim they are correct because no one did refute them. Saying something makes it true in their mind and unfortunately if it isn't refuted others might think it is true.

Reversals
The Supreme Court has reversed Judge Sotomayor in seven instances where it granted certiorari to review an opinion she authored.

Stomayor did not author 3,000 of the decisions of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals--that would be an average of more than 300 decisions authored by her per year. Sotomayor was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on October 2, 1998 on a super majority 67-29-2 vote, receiving her commission on October 7, 1998--9 years and about 9 months ago .
