Hey--nice to see more postings, even with a neglectful Lola.

That gatekeeper somehow looks familiar.

It looks like Day has influenced the gatekeeper's choice of hair length.

Uh, Frank, were you being good or baaaad when you fell?.

Yo, DI...

...do not start rumors that I am ever good. Naturally I was being bad. Last thing I remember before the sudden stop was the ass on the young mother teaching her kid to skate just across the rink from me.

One hell of a beautiful ass...I can tell you that.

Goddam tight pants should be outlawed.

I seem to be making a habit of these sudden, unplanned stops!

My considered thoughts on the matter are...New York sidewalks definitely are harder than the boards of a skating rink...but that don't mean shyt to my shoulder.

Say Hi to the cowboy for me.

Yeah, it wasn't the fall that killed him ...

Hey, Frank! Great to see you drop by for a visit - and sorry to hear about your sudden stop and its consequences - at our age, bones just ain't what they useta be, that's fer sure. I screwed up bigtime and wound up havin' to wear a big old cast for a buncha weeks not too long ago - not much fun.

Anyhow, hopes for a speedy and uneventful recovery going your way, and best wishes to you and yours. I for one sure hope we see more of you on A2K in the coming year.

Sheesh, what is it about mature men and sudden stops these days?

~~~~~
Frankie, I'll be in the city in the middle of Walter's trip. Looking forward to seeing you, even if you are busy looking at the tight pants all over town.
Maybe sunglasses?
Cool
Hey Walter...hey Timber...hey Beth...
...good to read the voices of old friends again.
Be lookin' forward to visit with Walter and Beth.
Sorry to hear about the cast, Timber.
My doctor told me the only real cure for bones getting more and more brittle was to grow younger.
How to do that...he left to me.
Frank,
Lola's cafe has always been a haven for you. You have now attracted a lot of people to this thread. (Lola herself has been absent probably because of her new shop.)
Anyway, you have an audience here. Why don't you start a discussion on one of your favorite topics here at the cafe?
Hey Wandel...
...good to see ya.
I may get back into the posting business in a little bit...but things are a bit out of sorts right now. I will keep in touch with this thread, though. And my next trip into NYC....I will stop by and see what is up with Lola.
Hey, I see some of my favorite A2Kers here. I really have not become very involved in this thread, but I think I will from now on.
Happy New Year to you all!
Farmerman- Frank is like that pinch of spice that one puts into a dish, that makes it a special "indefinable something".
Hey Farmerman and Phoenix...
...good to see youse.
FM...if I read correctly...you may be in the Big Apple during a business trip. Hope is that is so...and that we get a chance to meet.
I know I'll see Phoenix next trip...and maybe even Montana.
Wow!
Gonna try posting a bit in the more contentious threads. Hope I can keep my cool. Shouldn't be much of a problem...now that I am older.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE. MAY 2007 BRING YOU ALL THE THINGS YOU WANT!
Hummm...bit of philosophy coming on me hard...needing to share.
You can get all the things you want...if you simply want all the things you've got.
Corny...but... :wink:
