Hey, what's wrong with Arizona? I'm actually contemplating moving there soon.

(Although I must say osso's recent remark about the "blast furnace months" on another thread is disconcerting.)

Yes, please. Do you have any Canadian lager on tap? Or a bottle would be fine.

Hew Wassau.........a Canadian Beer for Tico, he'll need it in Arizona.

Actually I think Arizona is beauiful.......those great rocks just standing there and the colors are very pleasing. And the heat is dry so it's much easier to bear than heat in Texas for instance. But you have to know how to live there. Park in the shade and drive cars with very powerful airconditioning. Play in door sports like racquetball, or cards, or live on the internet. We know about that, don't we?

Oh here comes Wassau with the beer.....will you bring me a nice frosty glass of white wine Wassau darlin, I'm going to sit here on the sofa and relax. I'm taking a break.

Osso, you may have to fill me in about he Arizona, or New Mexico pic.....I've been out of it too long.

Lola...they're looking for you on the lost and misplaced thread!

Walter's been missing your legs, apparently.

Mind you, I can see why.

Speaking about monocle, I've a very cute one, which you even can use as a magnifying-glass:

Those ought to come in handy Walter. I have some just like those, only mine don't have a monocle...

I find that legs often come in handy as well.

Especially when I'm walking the dog.

Sorry I missed it.

Sorry you would have treated me with the greatest respect.

When I met with Dyslexia...he ended up kicking me in the head while I was unconscious on a New York sidewalk.

We had a ball.

Goddam rain damn near drown my sorry ass. Do you know what it is like entering an air-conditioned building when you are soaked through?

But I dried out...Tony and I went to the Frying Pan for sunset...then had dinner. I was about as fine an evening on the Pan as you could hope for.

yeah Frank, I was thinking of you when the lightening and thunder started a few minutes after you left. The wind was so stong it blew that little cast iron lantern on the table on the balcony plum off. No joke.

And then I thought about you when the sun came out and made such a luscious sunset........maybe next week Bernie and I can join you guys. Anybody else wanna come along? I need to make it to the pan before summer is over.

And Lordy darlin, you're not trying to say your legs are as special as mine are ya?

Golly dang, I wish I could join (in order to meet) you guys. I want to let Frank punch me in the chops once, to get it over with. But where's (and what's) "the pan"?

The pan is in on the Hudson River in the 30s on New York's West Side in the Chelsea district. But I hear it's moving slightly uptown soon. It''s a very nice place on a Summer evening in New York......as long as the wind is blowing and it's not 90 degrees or higher.

Come on to New York JLNo we would all come out to meet you. We're an ecclectic group.

There is absolutely nobody who post in A2K that I would not LOVE to meet and enjoy passing some time with. I don't care how much we argue here in the threads...I guarantee the interplay will be light...and entertaining.

Those of us (the New Jersey/New York contingent) who meet regularly have an absolute ball each and every meet. And the setting...

...ahhh...the setting..

...is spectacular.

Come on down anytime, JL...Joe Nation, Blatham, Kicky, Lola, and I will be delighted to see you...and nobody gets pounded.

Are ya ever in the Big Apple???
