Where can I go to learn the MOST about puntuation?
adele
HERE'S ONE SUGGESTION . . .
Welcome to A2K, adele! You are going to like it here. :-)
My favorite handbook for grammar, punctuation (etc.) usage is the "Chicago Manual of Style." For rules, you should look at a good high school text for classes in English. Check with your local librarian. Then, practice, practice, practice. And, don't forget to have fun! Writing can be enjoyable. Look what we are doing here in the A2K forums . . . and a slew of other similar places on the net. Good wishes![/color]
Chicago Manual of Style, fifteenth edition, chapter 6.

Hey, don't be fooled into buying the old edition. They come out with a new one every ten years or so. It is just hitting the book stores this month. You can order online at

dupre - I couldn't access the link you posted. This is the link I have. However, the price on the link below is $55.00. Barnes and Noble - online - has the 15th edition for $38.50.

I was just there, but I'll check the link to make sure it works O.K.
I believe this is the URL for Barnes and Noble. I'll check to make sure as soon as this is posted.

It's a bargain at that price. I feel ripped off now, but happy to have the new copy, anyway.
Sorry about the link. Glad you found it.
