Spelling English-optional.

I would refine the above, based on my observations, that speaking English is an advantage. Speaking English is not required. Spelling English reflects one's level of education and or willingness to use a dictionary.

I think you haven't spent enough time in Memphis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Dallas, Albuquerque, Tuscon, Boise, Reno, and even Seattle.

ppfzzz, well I have been in Tucson - nothing much to see.
Heck, I drove cross country from NY to CA - that was interesting, to
say the least! Laughing

Agreed, the town isn't much, but there is lots to see in the surrounding area - wonderful resorts, great restaurants, beautiful scenery: the terrain and the small towns between Tucsin and the Mexican border are unusual and memorable. It is a unique place, much more interesting than Phoenix in my view.

Geologists spend their lives looking under rocks for something to like.

Yeah, but Jason wrote police wrong Laughing

Why do I get the feeling that engineer and German sounded like a
cuss word in farmerman's statement. Cool

Calamity is bright, cheerful and attractive. However she likes Francis better than me. So much for the German - engineer thing.

I'm an easy-going, sensitive, almost poetic guy. Calamity can verify that.

Farmerman is not as cranky as Dyslexia, but close.

He's just an upwardly mobile geologist Calamity. A lot of them are like that.

Neither lowly nor mute: a sage and witty contributor to the common experience here.

Brits are OK. Though, I enjoy grumbling about them as much as I enjoy them directly. Sometimes I think they have the same curious reaction to us.

HERE is an example of German Humor, not too bad. I , therefore, should probably revise my previous statement. For being "humor challenged" , engineers have no peer.
