Gosh everything here is so much less expensive than the UK. I went out with the little girl in the family today to a mall - so so different to the UK. Just a different world.

I think the only thing we possibly have that is bigger than the US - is our voltage. HA! I went to plug my hairdryer in (yes, I brought it over) - tho, I wasn't drying hair - I had painted the little girls nails and we needed a quick blow dry - so, I plug it in............ and it goes... phhhhhhewprrrrrrrrh..... that was it - phhhhhhewprrrrrrrrh - and that was an effort - no massive blow dry with 240 volts racing thru........ just a measly pathetic little phhhhhhewprrrrrrrrh at 110V (or whatever it is here....110 120...) - HA - HA - HA - HA - we have bigger VOLTS. That's it tho. Everything in the US, or TX is "massiver" than the UK. Makes I larf.

Anyhoooooo - hoping to see RH and SheW next weekend sometime and then on up to KS and a roadtip to Chi-town. YAY. YAY. YAY. Happy Days

Had quite a busy day today - not really had the opportunity to get online. Ooooooooh........ I went to Michaels - you know - the craft store - oh oh oh - I could live in a craft store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so naughty - I got some stuff - you know, just looking at stuff, stuff that reminds me of people, stuff that I can pass to people that's special - not useful or needed in the slightest stuff - just stuff that I will look at or whatever - my bad bad bad!

Went to a few places actually - then took the kids to the pool - lovely dinner - fajitas and tacos - debated at the dinner table - laughed a lot too.

Have been "skeetered" - darn mozzies - what is it with them - is the Brit White Meat they like - no-one in the family ever gets bit - S-boy and I are have been eaten - welts all over - must be the royal blood or summat. pfffffffffffffst skeeters! Got some bug spray today - oof - I'm not sure that the assault of the nasals with the smell of the spray is any better than the skeeter bites. Will persevere tho - ha! I think my immune system is playing nasty - could be coz of the bites too - but my knee has given out on me thisavo and I am Mz IzALimpalong, fall, Limpalong, fall. OY!

Nem'mind - I went swimming and dived. That was a good feeling. EXCELLENT.

You've never seen anything so funny as the little fella and me in a fitting room together...... well, suffice it to say...... nah........ you kinda had to be there (well, that would never have happened) - but little boy and Mom trying on girl clothes and getting boobs stuck!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my!

We laughed heaps in the store. When we went to get back in the car - good grief - just how hot does the inside of a car get - couldn't even touch the steering wheel, leave alone sit in the seats. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! We're gonna go out again in a bit.

Hi Izzie, I'm well, you've got me laughing over that fitting room incident, I've heard of zippers getting stuck but boobs...........

Understand is is hot but haven't you got an airconditioner in your car? As you know our summers get extremely hot, but we have special steering wheel covers so you won't burn your hands plus all cars are fitted with airco's.

Nearly 1am here and I want to be asleep, and am not!

Anyhoooooooooooooo... plans are changing a bit (fluid - ha!) - looks like we may be hiring a car and driving on down to Houston on Wed or Thurs - )I've got itchy feet) - have a one night stayover with my beautiful niece - then come back to Dallas. Haven't called the car rental folk yet ... because I haven't spoken to my niece yet - but, hopefully all will be fine.

Little fella is soundo beside me - ahhhhhhhhhhh - y'all should've seen this baby gecko tonite - cutest little critter you ever would see. Snapped some pics - but ... even tho I've taken some pics, can't seem to look at them. Don't know what that's all about. Gotta strange feeling - can't explain but can't seem to do pics at the mo.
