Saturday, 1st August a special day downunder, Beagle's wedding anniversary and taking Mrs.B out to dinner tonight to her favourite restaurant. I couldn't forget, had plenty of hints in the past week.

well, it's been a nice day today - we've been home alone and can't go anywhere - so just took a walk up to the pool and swam for a bit. Everyone's home now. The weather has been perfect for us - about 89 deg, grey and overcast - which is great for us coz we can be out in that without too much trouble.

Talked roadtrip with the Rock today - so very exciting. He has plans. EXCELLENT.

JPB - tried to call -will try this evening again - can't wait to see you girl - know you are doing all the planning and am so grateful - can't tell you how much it means. I'm not able to walk heaps but intend doing as much as Izzily possible whilst we're there.

Surprised that the supermarkets are cheaper than in the UK. Of course that may be a regional thing. Stuff in NY is pricey.

Hi all just a quick one from Oz! Happy Anniversary the Beagles!!

OOOh forgot to say arrived ok after a terribly long hard flight and we all suffered severe jet lag but have been busy! Hired a car so am now mobile!! Met some natives and they were half naked, of course had to have our picture taken with them!!

Got sunburnt on my back and bitten by sand flies had to go chemist as I am allergic to them and have swollen hands ARGh!! But otherwise all is well.

Izzie glad you and Sboy have arrived safely, you take it easy and enjoy yourself, love to all X

Well let me tell you the meal was exceptional! Having had a few pre-dinner drinks I made a wise move and wrote down what I had, because I could have never remembered the specific details at the end.

Breads: grilled focaccia, macadamia and rocket pesto, tomato and basil salsa, dill olive oil. Just a fancy name for some nice freshly baked slices of bread.

Garling King Prawns for entree.

For main course, Beef and Reef, Eye Fillet Steak with a selection of seafood in creamy white wine sauce.

Dessert, listen to this verbivore, it was called "The Chocolate Slut", chocolate tart, flourless chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, mungalli double cream and orange syrup.

With all that a couple of bottles of our best Barossa White Wines. All in all a great night for a once in a blue moon expensive night out. Afterwards we went to the Casino and won enough to pay for the whole night and some more! Arrived home at 3am which wasn't doing bad for an old timer like me.

Now taking it easy the rest of the day. Sorry Bazza but we made no pictures, another time.
