@Stormwatch,
Whew! You ain't kidding Stormy - and I have some sandpapery eyes that will attest to the truth. Man! I'm tired! But it is fun. My husband and I were just talking this morning about how sad we would be when it was over. We are already halfway through our season. There are parts of me that are relieved when we get through and parts that are so sad. But...no matter how tough it gets we mourn when it's over. But there is always next year!

How is the season going Stormy - when do you start games?

@mismi,
Hey Crew

Well, wasn’t Jes just the best! Feel very privileged to know her and to share her joy today. She was shining brightly. Very Happy

Little fella has been over here
http://able2know.org/topic/131624-2#post-3630603
He’s gone to bed now and off to school early in the morning. I’ve got work. Think I am definitely in the doghouse " have left 4 messages for my boss and she hasn’t returned one. Oops! Hey ho!

Wobbie the Wabbit is no longer at Chez Izzie. Had “made” him a hutch and put him outside " wabbits should be able to see the daylight and smell the grass " but this morning the 2 neighbours cats had managed to move the hutch and poor little bunny must have been terrified. So, S-boy and I took him to the vets who were delighted to see him " he’s strong now and eating soooooo much " lots of dandelions to spare " and one of the vets is raising baby bunnies....... so Wobbie has gone to them where he’ll be able run around and be out in the open. S-boy was cool with it " we were pretty lucky to get the experience of looking after a wild wabbit.

Glad to see the crew here and some yabbering going on....

Ima kinda little all over the place at the moment " oh, no worries or anything " just trying to figure ways forward in areas of my life. Very pleased to be here............ feel safe here. Thanku.

Have taken my sleeping potion and need to try and get to bed at a reasonable time and take what’s coming my way when I get to work. Am going back on Mon, Wed and Fri for a month " then back to 4 days.......... think the pressure is gonna be on " joy!

Social Services meeting booked on 30th April.......................................ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Verra tired today. BEAgle " you sure all is OK hun " little worried about you. Xx
Alex " how is your world?
BLUE " miss you!!!!!!!!

busy time for all at the moment " spring is gorgeous and summer is just around the corner. We’ll keep on sailing and just y’all jump about when you wish to. <smooches>

Lovin’ y’all. x

Get some good rest Izzie.

mismi, we've only had 2 practices so far. Games should be starting next week. N. was a little nervous starting this year as he is now in the 13-15 year old league, but he's keeping up with the big boys just fine. We lucked out with coaching. The coach's son was a semi-pro player and has been giving the boys some pointers at practice. It's pretty impressive. I can't wait for the games to start.

@Stormwatch,
That is impressive - my boys would love it!

I am sure he will do great...update us on his games when you think about it please!

I do need to brag - just a moment - but J, last night, played 2nd base - snagged a grounder and threw it to first for an out. Then 5th inning they moved him to shortstop...he caught an infield fly, then threw a the fellow out going to second base...double play. It was thrilling. I love little league.

S is in a bit of a slump - I am afraid he has been blessed with his mother's accident proness...he has been hit by the pitcher for a walk the most on the team. His batting average is amazing. But he has become a little scared of the ball...his mental game is off...we are working on it...hoping that he can shake it off and start hitting again soon.

@verbivore,
Hey Verby---you would love little boys...but I can see you being a great mom to either. Thank you about my little boys...of course I think they are cute - but I am SO biased! Stay warm sweet girl. The one looking up - my baby is G. I know - I don't put their names on the computer...I am not sure that it keeps them any safer - but with things going on like they do...I just feel safer. Keep yourself warm and keep that chin up - we usually find what we are looking for, if we don't give up!

Good Morning Crew - working today - more ball after work...so I will be scarce. You are all in my thoughts!
Have a good one!

Well, I guess ewe have herd the sheep shearing is over and so is my pool cleaning operation. What with the recession an all I decided to go up market and call it something French to make it sound classy.

So, did anyone warn me that, ‘piscine’ is what the French call a swimming pool? No wonder no body called to have Try piscine in their pool!

Then to make matters worse, The professor; brown leather brogues, cords, tweed jacket with those cute leather patches on the elbows comes home early and, “ I say old boy, I must raise an irrefutable presumption in respect of your piscine bill’. “Say what already?” I stuttered. “We don’t have a pool!” He retorted…..There followed a pregnant paws while a fat cat ambled across the yard.

Needless to say an uncomfortable altercation was narrowly avoided when I made a solemn promised to vacate the premises post-haste. That is defiantly the last time I help Missy with her planting plan.

I kid you knot here is a hasty post of the back yard:

Oh Brooke, what a sweetie; next time I’m casting for a teeth whitening product you are definitely Heir to the throne!

I hope all is going well with you mom’s in the little and junior Baseball leagues. Did you see Jes and the Red Sox? Boy, with that dress; I would have matched it with Cerulean socks.

I hope all is well with the scurvy crew; take plenty of vitamin C.

See ya!
