What does the bolded part in your post refer to?
Is 'the bolded part' correctly used or should it be 'the part in bpld'?

The standard has declined.
Bolded is a shortened form of boldfaced (adjective, not verb form).
I have a long history in publishing, so my use of terms like boldface might be more technical than you might ordinarily find on the Internet.
However, the term bolded will certainly be understood. If your primary concern is comprehension, it shouldn't be a problem.
