Can we sue the hospital?

My wife had a surgery to remove her hemorrhoids. While recovering from her hosptial bed, a nurse gave a her a shot for "blood thinning". The problem with the shot is it was meant for a another patient! Shocked

My wife is now suffering some pain that may not be related to the surgery.

Can we sue for malpractice, pain & suffering, etc.?

You're asking a legal question, the kind that lawyers are paid to research. Go to one, and ask about a free initial consultation. Most tort and malpractice lawyers will provide one. A2K cannot give you legal advice; it is against the Terms of Service.
