So, I am a minor and I had to get my appendix removed a few months back and I am uninsured and my mom is making no effort to pay the bills off. If she doesn't take care of them by the time I am 18, can they be made into my responsibility?

As a minor you cannot legally enter into a binding financial contract--not with a car lot, not with a hospital, not with anyone.
