Mac, that was a wild guess. Laughing

Newbie:

It's Christmas. His daughter is pleased with her new ballet shoes. His son is already playing with his toy train. His wife then gives him his present. Inside the box is an assortment of travel brochures - Jamaica, Miami, etc. She tells him to choose a place so they might vacation together.

Hi Bree. Yes, Far From Heaven is correct. Sorry for the delay in answering. Our power was out for an hour and a half.

Hi, Raggedy. Sorry to hear about your power. Did you have a storm, or did it just decide to go out on its own?

I'm afraid I have to pass my turn, because things have suddenly gotten busy at work. So the next turn is up for grabs, to anyone who wants to take it.

Rain and wind, Bree, but hardly enough of a storm to cause the outage. It's snowing now, but I don't think it will lay.

Anyone here who would like to ask the next question?

Oldie:
The mother of the dead boy was drunk and disturbed when she came to the apartment to talk to the young girl. She wanted to know what had happened to her son and felt certain that the girl knew more than she was telling.

No, just stumped. I'll guess two more for a hint:

Dead End?
Boys Town?

One more clue:
Her military huband, away most of the time, arrived at the apartment just in time to save them both, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and sleeping pills for her daughter.

I KNOW YOU GUYS KNOW THIS!!!

While playing with her new tea set in the basement of the apartment building, she'd discovered his snoozing spot and that he used packing material to make a bed on the floor.
ps-the packing material was highly flammable.
