That's again too literal -- I would lose playing 10,000 Pyramid if I actually gave you a clue with the word in it!

A pen is grabbed in the air and placed back into a shirt pocket.

Clue: You should waltz right into this one.

New clue: There is a lot of space between the lines.

You got it! (Well, you should have as you passed it to me when it was your turn). The second clue had two meanings -- you picked up on that, huh? A stewardess find Dr. Heywood Floyd asleep and his pen has become dislodged and is floating around the cabin. Without waking him, she replaces the pen. The pen is another tool, of course, referring back to the bone used as a weapon by the primate and tossed in the air. It takes multiple viewings to appreciate that film.

(And I had included "floating" in the original scene description and took it out as being too obvious).

Great question, Lightwizard. It was "waltz" and "space" between the lines. Oh, and I pictured a pen in the air. Very Happy It's been a long time since I've seen 2001, but the first thing I did after seeing it was to buy the soundtrack -so the Blue Danube jumped out at me while I was brewing a pot of coffee. Laughing (I loved the opening scene.)

Here's a real Oldie (before 1960):

Spoiled fashion journalist uses her diamond bracelet for fish bait.

Gawd, I've got that scene pictured in my mind and can't come up with the title. I think there was an underwater shot with the fishies nibbling at the bracelet as it sparkled in the water.

Thanks Fealola, but sometimes there's a hitch to that. We can go too far adrift.
