And Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh? Or is the museum too new? I would like to place my hand in Olivier's.

The museum opened in 1987, so it's too new to have Vivien Leigh's handprint. I think Olivier lived until 1989, so his handprint could have been there (and probably is), but I just don't remember seeing it. Oh, well -- it makes an excuse to go back to London!

P.S. You and me both (I'd also like to place my handprint in Olivier's)!

A very Good Excuse. Since Richard Burton was Welsh, Peter O'Toole Irish, and Sean a Scot ,I guess they're not there, but Olivier will do for the time being.

I'm relinquishing my computer to my daughter in a few minutes.
So, movie scene is open if anyone would care to ask one.

Bree: All I can think of is Johnny Weismuller or Boy sneaking into the native's camp. So, first guess:
Tarzan Finds a Son

Not Tarzan Finds a Son (or any Tarzan movie)

Not A Farewell to Arms or The Plainsman
Clue: This movie has a lot in common with one of my favorite movies: they're both directed by the same director, and they both involve a seemingly mismatched couple (he's rough-edged, but with a good heart, she seems prim and proper at first) who are thrown together in wartime.

Yes indeed! The clue I really wanted to give was "He's a marine, she's a nun," but I tried to re-word it to make it a little less obvious.

But, the clue you gave couldn't have been any more obvious. I know you love the African Queen. I had forgotten all about that scene in Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison. It was a good one.
I need a few minutes to think of a scene.

I guess I could also have mentioned that there was a tie-in to the previous movie (Ryan's Daughter).

Here's an Inbetweener: 1960-1980

Night of the Iguana (Deborah Kerr and John Huston tie-ins to Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison).
I may have mentioned this before, but when I was 14, my best friend had a big crush on Richard Burton, so we saw every movie he was in, even if the movies went way over our heads (as Night of the Iguana did).

My daughter also had a crush on him, after seeing Prince of Players, as did I. So did my mother.
Yes, to Night of the Iguana

I see the women in your family have good taste!
Inbetweener
They're young, they're madly in love, they can't keep their hands off each other -- and they're both horribly sunburned, which makes things tricky.
By the way, the only tie-in here is that the leading man of this movie is the actor I had a big crush on when I was 14 (and if you remember that fact about me, you've definitely been spending too much time on A2K)!

I'm thinking about it. Not the movie. The movie star you had a crush on.
