Up about - was having a wee table and a couple chairs delivered today and they turned up at 8am wasn't.exactly.too.awake.when.I.opened.the.door

So, made a brew and getting ready to crack on with the decorating. How are your eyes today

As much as it wasn't all that wonderful to be woken up earlier than you'd have liked, I'll bet you are very pleased with a fast delivery of the tables & chairs. Yes?

Oooh yes, very pleased they've arrived but haven't unpacked it yet - waiting for the little fella to waken up

ha! IT'S RAINING, IT'S RAINING (everytime I say that I think of you! ) - the drizzle started last night and it's now gently falling. We do need the rain the - last few days have been very warm - also, the garden needs a drink and I don't have to schlep back and forth from the river to water the plants whilst Mother Nature does it for me!

PaPa started sanding down the skirting boards yesterday so I'll be painting coving and then skirting. Can't do anything 'til they arrive as we lost the end of the hoover <shakes head> and need to suck up a lot of the dust before I can start painting. Nasty prep work is done now, so that's happy.

Ive been doing some traipsing around in Mt Mitchell(Tallest peak in Eastern US) for the last few days. Now Im at a motel getting ready to head back home. Its our anniversary this weekend. SO I better get back home by this evening. (take me about 12 hours)
