His telephone number is in / on my mobile phone.
Should I use 'in or 'on'?
Many thanks.

Is there any difference in meaning between using 'in' and 'on'? I suppose there isn't. Just to confirm.
Thanks.
Sometimes "in" and "on" are interchangeable, sometimes not. In this situation they are.
We are talking about location.
His telephone number is in [or on] a list of numbers which is stored as digital data in [or on] a memory chip in my mobile phone.
Your name is on [or in, slightly old fashioned] on the list of wedding guests.
