that I will throw my support and vote to Obama if he wins the nomination even though he is not my candidate of choice.

How many of you will give Hillary your full support and vote if she wins, as I believe she will, the democratic nomination, and how much weight do you think your support will swing given the fact that most of you have attacked her as virulently as any republican?

Uh, did I attack her virulently? No. And, yes, I'll support her if she gets the nomination.

Same here. Attacked her virulently?

And given your Christmas present I have pretty good reason to think you'd be referring to me...

I've said throughout that I'll support her if she's the nominee. There's some slight chance of me preferring a Republican, but I really can't imagine it being one of the current crew of possibilities.

If she's the nominee, I'll support her. But not with as much energy and enthusiasm as I'll support Obama if he gets the nomination. I've been a supporter of Obama's since 2003. I started dreaming about how great it would be to support him for president when I was working for Kerry. I supported Kerry because I thought it was important for a Democrat to win, but I was consistently frustrated by how hard it was to get really enthused about him. If Hillary wins the nomination, I expect I'd feel similarly.

soz I promise I was not referring to you particulalry at all.

Hillary is slammed by democrats as much as she is by republicans, even her fellow politicians, and I think it is the height of foolishness that the republicans are having their general election smear ads written for them by democrats.

My Christmas gift to you was a good natured poke with no malice intended, for the record.

I would only consider voting for McCain over her.

You gotta realize, BpB, that she's 80% Republican. She's Republican lite. I don't trust her to represent my interests. I have a hard time believing that she's interested in ending the war, or ending domestic spying, or stopping corporate control of our nation.

Okeedokes. That's how I took it btw -- I smiled when I saw it -- was just busy at the time and didn't have time to respond. But I seem to be singled out as the anti-Hillary by you a fair amount, I guess because of my vociferous support for Obama.

I disagree about "slamming," though. I think both Obama and Edwards have been pretty good about raising legitimate issues, and she's been overquick to call it "slamming" (or "piling on" or whatever she actually has been saying). If she doesn't have a good defense against the legitimate issues, she shouldn't be going to the general election in the first place.

There's not a post here there or anywhere or aq 30 minute news broadcast that doesn't at some point get to Hill being an ice queen that people don't like or trust and somehow connecting her to Bill's indiscretions in a way that makes her somehow unworthy.

I still maintain that she's been piled onto for years about everything from her looks to her daughters looks in equal measure to legitimate criticism of her political views and positions.

I want Edwards. Hillary is too polarizing and I think she has become just another Washington puppet. I'm tired of the country being so divided and a Hillary win will just continue the civil war.

I like what Michael Moore says about the three candidates:

GW, i happen to think that Edwards is the best of the bunch. I also don't think he can win.

well soz, you ARE anti Hillary. I didn't say that made you a monster... but you are.

I'm not anti Obama, he's just not my first choice... and the worst thing I've said about him is that I don't think he has the behind the scenes experience or machinery to stand up to the Rove style attacks that are going to be piled on to him. I'm not going to say anything that a republican can turn around and parrot about him in the general election to beat him should he get the nomination.

I want my first choice to get the nomination as we all do, but what I want even more than that is a decidedly UNREPUBLICAN White House, Senate and Congress and that requires a candidate that can go toe to toe with the current scumbags and their organization, give as good as they get, and I think that's Hillary.

So shoot me. Laughing

This morning's talking heads shows have been raking Edwards and Hillary as dead meat so I tuned into a infomercial about male pattern baldness. The trash man came early this morning lucky I got it all out last evening.

If Hillary is the nominee then I will probably vote for her in the general election. If McCain is the Republican nominee then I'll have to think about it.

I don't think I've attacked her virulently, but I'm not a Democrat either. I'm wondering who you had in mind, BPB?

So, the worst things I've said about Hillary are...??

(As in, how am I anti-Hillary but you're not anti-Obama?)

I do agree that there is a lot of ugly stuff out there about her. I just don't think it's coming from me or even from the Democrat contingent here, and I don't think it's coming from Democratic candidates.

I'm going to backtrack and look up a few things... it'll take awhile but I'm going to do it.

I have never understood how "pattern baldness" differs from any other type of baldness.
