I'm really lonely and scared(,) here alone in the mountains.

Is the comma necessary? I don't think so.

Many thanks.

Flip it around and yes, use commas.

Here, alone in the mountains, I'm really lonely and scared.

PS - Gus means no disrespect using your conversations as his signature. He thought they were clever and poignant!! Easy does it.

Hi Sullyfish

PS - Gus means no disrespect using your conversations as his signature. He thought they were clever and poignant!! Easy does it.

What I meant is only Gus can use my words as his signature. When I say, "No one else... ", I meant only Gus is allowed to use it.

I apologise for the ambiguity in my statement.
