Why, thank you, Noddy.
How're the excercise-ball itty-bitty steps coming?

Spent the day Saturday in the gym with my sweetie. (We gave eachother certificates for one hour massages) But before the sessions began, she wanted to learn how all of the Cybex machines work. (!) I did a 10-15 set on all of them.... then we went to the pool where I did a couple of laps before realizing that I was pooped. (insert massage here... very nice) then the hot tub for a bit.
Then dinner.
Cab ride home.
deep sleeeep.
I got up early to go run.
I was a still a very tired cowboy and could only chug about two miles into the freezing winds before saying "The hell with this"

Joe(today I met a 65 year old man who runs 80 miles a week)

Wow. Ordered a stability ball today. The exercise nook is getting outfitted a little more.

George--

Bouncy-bouncy ball exercises are on hold for 3-5 weeks. There isn't room in the living room for hospital bed, a walker, Mr. Noddy's security blankets and an exercise ball.

Some days ya just go out and do it.

Snow, rain, snow mixed with rain, cold and gray. Today's not the day
they take the postcard picture. I didn't run yesterday, so I wanted to get
today. And I did. Four and a half fun-filled miles. But I did it.

Gonna be Spring soon. The calendar says so.

You ARE my fricking hero, G, I have managed about two miles twice in the past three days because it is either raining or windy or both. I came around the corner at the North end of the reservior Monday night and about got blown through the fence into the water with the ducks.

"Bowling,"I said," or darts. Both excellent sports, full of movement and designed to increase one's level of concentration and skill.... ."

Somebody should tell Boston it's time for it be Spring already.

Got m'new stability ball today but I think I underinflated it. Still (even though it's a bit squishy), it's an interesting concept. I can see doing more of the lower body stuff on it as I'm sick of situps and the like and just want to mix things up.

And, it's yellow.

George--

Today, in your honor, I'm going to do at least half-sets of my exercises. I am not an Iron Woman. I will not do them outside amid the spring rain drops.

Jes--

With the bouncy-ball you really feel your exercises impacting the rest of the universe.

Everything helps, everything counts.

Got the big yeller ball properly inflated and it is interesting. Sat on it to do an exercise that required sitting and I think it works you some more as you also end up concentrating on making sure you stay (heh) on the ball. Literally.

Tomorrow I'll try crunches on it. That should be interesting.

Still dancing. No particular goal other than performing again.

33 deg at lunchtime with winds of 25 mph producing a 19 deg wind chill.

I didn't run outside. Instead, I did 10 minutes on the stationary bike,
10 on the rower, and 10 doing some karate drills with 3-lb weights in my
hands.

I'm ahead of schedule with my running so I'm willing to be a little self-indulgent.
