You may keep your eel - however, I love lamb and cauliflower....... Very Happy

Not necessarily together, but, by themselves done my way.

ehBeth, I'm sure you are familiar with cauliflower boiled in water till soft and then in another pan brown breadcrumbs in butter till just right and serve it over the cauliflower.

MMMMMMMMMM Very Happy

My leg of lamb, I prep it with sliced garlic cloves which I insert into the meat after sticking a narrow bladed knife into it, then stuff the garlic in as deep as possible. Just bake until a good crust is on the outside and the meal is done.

Another MMMMMMMMMM Very Happy Very Happy

Danon,

Lamb done my way, too. But your first use of the word 'cauliflower' surely was meant to refer to something else. Or was it?

The explosion of jellyfish populations, scientists say, reflects a combination of severe overfishing of natural predators, like tuna, sharks and swordfish; rising sea temperatures caused in part by global warming; and pollution that has depleted oxygen levels in coastal shallows.

These problems are pronounced in the Mediterranean, a sea bounded by more than a dozen countries that rely on it for business and pleasure. Left unchecked in the Mediterranean and elsewhere, these problems could make the swarms of jellyfish menacing coastlines a grim vision of seas to come.

Not so cute - the jellyfish appeared off the coast of Japan Oct. 2005.

Overfishing - Japans notorious for killing whales and dolphins - the problem won't go away until nations decide to conserve and protect ocean sealife.

Congress is pushing for a chat - that's serious business. We'll see.

sumac, your pics are great. Very Happy

Also, my first mention of cauliflower did not mean it is served with the lamb. I usually make an onion/potato soup - my own recipe - and have the lamb with a red cabbage prepped ahead - also a knodel (big round dumpling) on the side. Green salad side dish.

The cauliflower is a meal by itself.

All clicked.

I bet they could be made to be edible. Perhaps as feed for some animals (if that is your choice), or processed as tofu/jellyfish cakes.

sue, I'm almost certain all types of jellyfish have the capacity to cause considerable damage to divers. Gargantuan jellyfish {yikes} in the water...swimmers out of the water = a good rule.

Teeny, we'll have to see what the 'political negotiations' bring to the table, or if the wh ties up the contempt of congress charges in the courts for a thousand years.

Before he became famous - Clint Eastwood joined the US Navy - and, one evening he hitched a ride in a Naval aircraft. They were over the Pacific Ocean when the engine quit. It crashed in the water and the pilot and Clint began to swim towards the shore about three miles away. They were invaded by Jelly fish. The pilot was stung enough to kill him. Clint, the lucky one made it to shore and is still alive. True story.

The herd is clicked.
