Beth, you are just to cute! Very Happy

Hi Dan, Teeny, and Alex.

Today's my Friday! Hurray! Driving home today, and at the end of a six day workweek - was treated to an amazing nature vista of puffy white cloud formations covering the Sierra skies.

Add a few hundred more groupings to the photo and you'll have an idea of how the sky appeared today. Amazing

Stradee,
God Bless you and your family! Thanks to you, I reset my reminders! I hadn't been getting them, so i clicked your link and voila! I was able to reset my daily reminders! Hope every one is doing okay! I had a set back, in my recovery. Went back to the doctor and am on new medication, to offset nausea! Gross but I'll be okay now, I hope! Again thanks for the link, I'll be clicking anew!

Hi all, good clicking Very Happy Very Happy

teeny, glad to hear something is making life a little better for you. My Patti was well enough to get out of the house and visit a couple of places in town for about two hours - she really enjoyed it and I did also. Today, she is paying for it - back in bed with all the old troubles associated with MS.

I'm so happy she was able to get out for a while. We drove down to Camden, for a Memorial to Veterans yesterday. Beautiful, sun shiny day and the flags were blowing on the Veterans graves, as the Poem "In Flanders Fields" was read, America the Beautiful and other reminders, that Freedom isn't Free! The four songs of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corp. were played, as Veterans who served in any of the four services, stood and saluted.

My "Tin Can" Sailor, stood and saluted the Stars and Stripes. I like that! Then Taps was played. A 21 Gun Salute and the Memorial was recessed until next year. Refreshments were served at the Legion Post a few blocks away and you get to see people from all over the state.

Next week, I'll be in Wildwood, at the Convention and the beach, so if I'm not around, please click for me! Love, to you all!
Teeny

Thanks teeny - I am happy you and your family had a great holiday.

Here is a bit of trivia for you all = At first, "Taps" the tune was a call for all soldiers out on the town to return to the fort for the night. I am thinking it was also the sound for the tavern keepers to quit the "Taps" for the soldiers in the wine barrels. Anyway, it's a sad tune. One I heard many times in the Nam.

I wish we had a beach area around our home. Oh, we do - it's one of the largest man made lakes - about twenty miles long and really wide.
