They're morons and assholes.

I may just go down there and tell them to their faces, too.

From the horse's mouth. You need acrobat reader for this. Among the GAO conclusions were:

accusations not documented

nothing unusual - every administration has the same thing

some damages reported were third-hand, which is not acceptable

Total dollar estimates not what the Bush WH claimed

Not really my discussion, jorge, but yeah, sick. Kind of disturbing too, but that's a redundancy.

Personally, I think that whoever came up with the idea has a childish, sick sense of humor. You must admit that the people who staged the event ARE attempting to make a point.

What they are doing by trashing the building (that, after all, WAS going to be torn down) is attempting to make political hay. IMO, what both Democrats and Republicans need to to is ignore the "event". By even discussing this puerile idiocy, we are just giving more credence and power to a totally adolescent idea.

If this event illustrates the calibre of the people who are attempting to run our country, we are in BIG trouble. Shame on the people who thought this up. I would never vote for anyone (no matter what the party) who spearheaded a mean spirited, dumb concept as this. Shame on them. I would like to tell them to grow up!
