We were greeted by fine weather upon our early morning arrival on 19 November 2007.
Could someone please improve on the sentence for me?
Many thanks.
It is beyond improvement. That is the finest sentence I have ever seen.
(And, yes, I have been drinking)
The drunk is correct (mostly). The sentence is fine as it is, and needs no improvement.
Few commas wouldn't hurt.
Thanks, Setanta and Gus.
Hi Gus
In future, don't reply when you're under the influence of alcohol.
Ah--hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I can't. But don't drive when you drink. I don't drink and that's why I don't know how to joke.
