for my dumb history homework i'm supposed to write some stupid MP report for reducing the child working hours in factories 1833, if anyones done this homework can you help me out? please!
With that attitude, you don't deserve any help. Sounds like you're the "dumb" one.
By accomplishing the assignment on your own, you'll get some personal experience at child labor. This might be helpful.
Child labor was abolished by the Canningite Tories when they discovered that adolescent white slavery was far, far more profitable.
please continue on your academic path. My son is going to need unskilled laborers to set up and tear down games.
homework iz for loserz
if i were u i'd play video gamez instead!!
lol
Assuming that a student doesn't have many chores to do at home, homework is a good way to learn the discipline that would not be learned by just hanging out with friends/whoever.
In my own opinion, we grow apart from most, if not all, of the friends we have during our student years. In effect, all those supposed friendships was time spent, with no payoff, other than letting one hone his/her social skills for wasting time. But, homework gets one a diploma that can be used to get a job, or go further, like college. Education is time invested in oneself. Hanging out with whoever is time invested in other people's willingness to waste time. Just my opinion. Many of the extroverts in the worlds might disagree with me.
For a change, I agree with all of you, with the quibble that I do have a couple of life long friends from my childhood and adolescence, not that many relative to the people from my twenties and onward. My friends did homework too, though. Most of the time I enjoyed homework. I agree with Phoenix about it being a time to think about things on your own.
The internet is in many ways a gift, although it's still hard to beat a serious book with good citations and bibliography.
