NeoGun keeps implying, with out proving,
that there is something rong with spewing the NRA line.

I have significant differences with the NRA.

ANYWAY, the truth was the truth long before NRA
began to express itself.

The entire Constitution, including the entire Bill of Rights, including the 2nd Amendment was written
by successful REVOLUTIONARIES, who supported INDIVIDUALISM.
They defended the individual right to keep n bear arms.

I notice that the opposition herein expressed
by the supporters disarmament of victims
of future crimes, is 1OO% EMOTIONAL,
n utterly devoid of factual support;
not a surprize, since facts do not support their stance.

Light wiz:

"The NRA mantra isn't just about guns it's "And just what did you shoot today?" A tin can, a deer or a human being?"

This is a factual error.
There is no basis for that assertion.

Here in Colorado the (Texan) governer recently signed legislation eliminating most prohibitions agianst carrying guns. Its amazing the macho rhetoric one hears, along the lines of..."yeah.I DARE someone to rob me...I'll blow them away..." How truly pathetic.

I believe that modern communications with computers,
email, etc wil conduce to EFFICIENT,
ez spelling. There simply is no logical reason
that the Spanish shud have a monopoly on ez,
efficient, fonetic spelling.

Professor, u r poisoning the minds of your
trusting students with the bad advice represented by your O. Shame on u !

U shud stand for SOUND REASONING,
NOT for dragging the dead weight of non-fonetic
spelling. No good comes from it.

Putting a "L" into wud, cud, nor shud cannot
be justified. Saying that it shud be so,
because it WAS so, is not logical argument;
it is just stupidity. NON-viable stupidity,
and all the king's horses n all the king's men
will not perpetuate that stupidity,
in the face of people showing a better way.

Manifest destiny includes adoption of fonetic spelling,
the same as the metric system and for the same reasons.

We need not be Chinese ancestor worshipers.

Let's imagine that:

1. a potential robber n sexual abuser heard someone say THAT,
and he heard someone else say:

2. O, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO afraid of guns !!! I'd NEVER carry one.
I say if a robber gets u, just CO-OPERATE with him,
and don't get him mad.

WHICH of those 2 is the robber sexual abuser more likely to select as his prey ??

I'd bee more worried about sum kid shooting up a scool cafeteria than I wood about the gumminment taking a gun from a law abiding citizen.

Butt, the en-are-eh had managed 2 convince peepul that the secund is more likely than the furst.

I also swear that "Rolling Stone" had an article about links between the en-are-a and the milita muvement. This was ritten after en-are-a heero Tim McVeigh was captured.

(This simplifed spelling works prettyy well)

U clearly find it IMPOSSIBLE to offer an
intellectuallyviable counterargument to what I've submitted.

Your answer consists of a feeble effort at humor.

"Under Fire" (working title) Update

In addition to the VPC, I have also found a site called "CeaseFire" that seems to actually be a coalition of State groups, the Center To Prevent Handgun Violence, and a link to "Bowling For Coulmbine" and I may even inculde sites that show how the Absolutionists are basically trying to protect thier masters from the reality that Mr. Moore presented.

BTW: I still need to rent the film itself. Maybe over the 3-day weekend.

Beware that his films are pervaded with factual distortion,
portraying events that never happened,
or that happened DIFFERENTLY,
not just this film, but his entire body of cinematic work.
He cannot, nor has he, denied this, nor has he ever warned
his audience of his poetic license with the facts, nor
use of compositie characters, etc.

Caution: his work is rife with fraud.

As a matter of fact,
we have encountered similar factual distortions
thru out the anti-gun freedom, victim disarmament movement.

U r correct that I own guns.
A house without a gun is a dangerous place,
in that it cannot defend itself from depredation.

I support possession of guns by every person who is worthy of
defending himself. (Note that I support "equal protection of the laws")
Violent recidivists, shud be Banished
from the North American Continent, taking no interest in their tools.

Fonetic spelling is efficient. U shud have been able to figure that out.
Non-fonetic is inefficient, wasteful, n anti-logical. It is dead weight.
Dragging dead weight, n instructing the pre-literate young to do so,
all of their lives, is anti-efficient, anti-intelligent, bad advice.
I feel as tho we r all in a car with a flat tire, driving along,
everyone thinks its fine, saying that plainly having 3 round tires is good enuf,
that there is no reason to desire having 4 round ones; denying that
having 4 round tires makes any sense.

Having competent defenses from the depredations of animals, criminals,
or governments, is not "devolution". Being defenseless is "devolution".

Additionally, I wish to support ALL of our constitutional rights,
not to let any of them fall into desuitude. Our rights under the
2nd Amendment are superior to any of the other rights,
in that they preserve our rights to survive, and to keep governments
in line, as to the rest of our rights.

The 2nd Amendment protects n defends the SOVEREIGNTY that
the Founders invested in the CITIZENS, having wrested it from
government. It puts physical power into the hands of private
citizens, all of whom outrank, their miserable hireling, government,
who serves similarly to a real estate property manager,
whereas we citizens are the owners.

How's that for an explanation ??

P.S.:
I am willing to entertain the possibility of legislating an EXCEPTION
to "equal protection of the laws"
such that ONLY private citizens may carry guns,
but that every holder of public office, as persona non grata,
must remain unarmed,
just to keep government well inferior to the individual citizen, in power,
n remind government who's boss around here.

"Under Fire" update:

Also found link to article in Rolling Stone from 1995 (post OK-City) that looked at the links between 2nd Ammendent Absolutionists and the Militia Movement.

All I need to do now is:

1. Purchase the article.

2. Read, summarize and post the link to where others can purchase the document.

MORE COMPLETE TIMETABLE:

Nov 3--Relaunch "Bush-Info.org", complete with "Under Fire" and Howard Dean pages.

Dec 12--Relaunch "Religious Liberty Network". As of now looking like I may have two 'blogs. A "progressive Catholic" one and one devoted to montioring "Radical Zionists".
