Let's do some time traveling...

If you could journey back in time and alter any event, which would you choose? I sat in my rocking chair last night, smoking my pipe, and pondered that question for hours. I have made my decision.

I would travel back to 685 A.D., to the Battle of Nechtansmere. As you'll recall, the Picts were victorious and prevented the Northumbrians from gaining control over Scotland. My plan would be to smuggle a couple of Blackhawk helicopters into the Northumbrian camp. The Picts would be overthrown and Scotland would now, in all probability, be controlled by the Northumbrians. Wouldn't that be beautiful?

What would your choice be?

I can think of several, but this is the first (and best) one that came to mind.

I would travel back to Egypt and prevent the burning of the library at Alexandria.

I'd go back to september 1945 and kidnap Barbara Bush, before she makes a mistake.

If I could travel back in time it would be to become one of the worlds biggest and most successful serial killers, for starters everyone on this link would have been one of my victims the day BEFORE they committed their first murder.

Can you imagine the satisfaction of putting these filthy animals to death in the certain knowledge that by killing them you would be saving hundreds of decent people from certain death.

I would either tell the guy that sold windows to bill gates to hold on to it or go back to the 1st day in the so called "catholic bible" to see if it really happened.

Some excellent ideas. I'll have to think of some better ones, if possible.

This is just temporary, Margo. My new avatar is under construction -- release date should be several weeks. The old one will resurface on occasion, simply to cause the womenfolk to swoon, and the men to cower.

Everytime I saw that old avatar I could only think of a porn flick, Afrogasm.

At this point in my life, I'd go back to early September, 2001, and try to warn the proper authorities about what was about to occur.

I was conceived in Petroaleksandrovsk, in the year 1834. My parents were vampires. Why do you ask, Dlowan?

ok they weren't there ancestors were, they do not deserve to get FREE hydro as hydro has nothing to do with it, not everyone gets compinsatesd because they couldn't defend themselves. I'm not saying it was right at all but giving them a free ride because of it isnt right either they are not repressed now.

I actually do agree with you there. I think the rules should be equal for everyone since this generation of indians didn't suffer. That's why I said I'd go back in time to make sure they were treated fairly in the first place.

I would also have like to have been part of freeing the slaves. Way back when there wasn't enough law and now there's too much.
