Contraceptive Injection..

I've been on three types of contraceptive pill; microgynon, levonelle and cerazette, if those names mean anything to anyone.

The first made me VERY angry, the second depressed and the third, I managed three months but was a bit moody on that aswell. I'm now looking at the contraceptive injection, I know there are a couple out there, and I believe they are progesterone only? I could be mistaken.

I was just wondering if there are any people who tried the POP and then the injection, and if they had the same side effects on both?

The POP I was on (Cerazette) made me a bit moody, brought me up in spots, but stopped my periods, which was lovely for a while..

A friend who's on the injection says it makes her happy, in a good mood and everything.. I'm just worried about the injection because I can't just 'STOP' it, like I can do with the pill. I'll have to live with the side effects for three months/longer so I wanted to see what experiences other people had had.
