Dirt Roads

haha, you know that might just be right.

So true ... and that's just exactly why I like my dirt road. And the other folks who live along it.

When everything is paved people miss dirt...

I've lived in places where John L. McAdam was a stranger and I used to long for pavement.

Know whatchya mean, CdK ... and I appreciate the County Road half a mile away which IS paved. Still, I'd rather live on a dirt road, along with other folks who have and appreciate packs of barking dogs and racks of purpose-suited shotguns (some are for hunting, just like some of the dogs, and some aren't ... just like some of the dogs )

Depends on the dirt. In Brazil they have a very unique red clay type dirt and it's horrible for a tropical climate. Dirt is cool, mud sucks. And then the roads can get so rutted that you can't steer and you ahve to go where the roads dictate...
