When commenting on another poster's typo, best not to make one yourself.

Very Happy Right.

Don't worry cjhsa. By the time the election comes we will be at war with Iran and then there will be no election.

And oh yea, homeland security will come for you guns too.

And the only store will be wallmart. We will all shop and work at wallmart.

That Hillary is a Marxist isn't news, is it? The only times she even pretends otherwise is when making a bid for political power. I have trouble believing that either of the two front running Democratic candidates is likely to garner much support in Middle America.

I continue to support John McCain for GOP flag-bearer, and I think he may surprise folks. This business of beginning campaigns so early and saturating the airwaves with political propaganda may cause future candidates to rethink their strategy. Thompson delayed, and it looks as if he may not be able to make up the ground. McCain started strong, but has had financial problems as more liberal Republicans have grabbed center stage. In the long run, the McCain's solid credentials and record may overcome fashion and the ability to generate large contributions.

The Democratic Party has been ragging on the GOP as the Party of the Wealthy, yet it appears that they are getting much more support from the wealthy and powerful. Democrats still seem to believe that they are running against George Bush, but the Democratically controlled Congress is held in even lower esteem by the public according the polls. The unpopularity of fighting to secure peace in Iraq from Terrorists may well no longer work since the effort there has been steadily improving. Personally I have very little faith in surveys being able to accurately judge anything, especially when what is being measured is political strength.

The real campaign hasn't even started yet, and already the Democratic candidates are tearing one another apart and sowing disunity. As the election gets closer, I suspect that the GOP will grow closer together as they have so often in the past.

To claim that Hillary Clinton is a Marxist is hilarious, and beggars the definition of Marxist. You can bet your bottom dollar that neither she nor Slick Willy are going to want to give up the millions which they currently enjoy.

I don't recall Marx ever talking up giving up anything. He was even territorial about his seat in the British Museum, the archives of which he sieved a bit.

I'm for Mr McCain myself. If I was a Yank he is the man I would vote for.

And I can't understand how any woman is going to vote for another woman to have better curtains than she has.

He already has; not only surprised but shocked.

Why you would support a flip-flopping, duplicitous, obsequious, groveling, bald-faced lying son of a bitch?

[My apologies for the slur to the female half of the canine species.]

... wait a second, ... the incongruity of this is truly perplexing to normal people but, ... he'd make a perfect Republican candidate!

Well, in Europe, Hillary could fit well in the conservative parties, perhaps in the right wing of the social democratic parties as well.

Certainly in the liberal (=libertarian) parties, too.

But I sincerely doubt that she even would be considered left not to speak about Marxist.

This is exactly what I've been talking about all along here on A2K, how far over the edge Europe has gone, and soon, ONCE AGAIN, we will be back over there bailing their ass out... it's a vicious cycle....

Hey! We're doing things so badly here in the Red Socialist EUSSR that the British pound just hit a 26 year high against the US dollar! So, ha ha ha, all the loudmouth dickheads in plaid golf pants can't afford to come over! If this is communist hell, I think I'll stick with it.

Yeah, there's a real cause for celebration. Our currency is so high we've totally lost tourism from the wealthiest country on earth. Whatever loser.

A) Where am I a neo-socialist? (For the record: I never said different that I am a member of the social-democratic party - btw the oldest poltical party in the world).

B) What exactly do you mean with "looser"? At what exatly in my private or business or job life did make me a looser?

C) How is 'eurotrash' related to me?

Coming from who? [that is thought to be really bad grammar in British English.]
A comparison of the various party programs and what she says/does will easily prove such.

Well, since the UK alone is the 4th richest country on earth, is one of the four trillion-dollar economies of Western Europe, since tourism only accounts for 3.5% of the UK economy, and since 2006 was a record year for UK inbound tourism both in terms of volume and value, I don't think there is any need for panic just yet. Whatever, loser!
