Which sentence is correct?
1a. The exam is very important to me.
1b.The exam is very important for me.
2a Play iis very important to me.
2b Play is very important for me.
It would be pedantic to say either sentence in incorrect.
However, I believe the sentences would be more generally acceptable if they read thus;
This exam is very important to me.
The exam is very important for my future development.
Play is very important to me.
Playing is very important for my social development.
HTH. :wink:
