Wow, I didn't realise that things were as bad in NC as they are in parts of OZ.

I was driving down the road yesterday, here in Western OZ, and while it was raining cats and dogs, the sprinklers were on in the parklands, and some of the sprinklers were watering the bitumen, while landholders even have restrictions on using their bore pumps.
