Everythings up for review. How the candidates fare in the intense unfairness, is a measure of their worth. I think Hillary will be smart enough not to even let this get legs. By ignoring it, she overcomesit, and the GOP's look like the schmucks.

Yeah, it's a lowblow. but I can't help wondering - did she really dump the family pet that they have used so often as a PR tool? And if so, how is this not significant to all you who post so endearingly about your pets?

Depends on if, and why.

eg: I don't think either of the Clintons is home a lot....maybe Socks likes people to play with a lot? I accepted an offer by a friend to take one of my cats when I moved to an apartment, because this cat adored being in the garden.......(they didn't end up taking him, and I moved with him, but he would have been happier if they had kept their word.)

Maybe Hillary can get on all the news channels having an emotional breakdown about giving the cat away like Ellen DeGeneres did about that dog. Rolling Eyes

Dear Mr. Wind:

Thank you for your recent e-mail in regard to Socks. The Clinton family appreciates your concern. To make this time of transition as easy as possible for Socks, the family decided that it would be best, while the Washington residence is being readied for occupancy, if he stayed with someone that he knew and with whom he has spent a great deal of time in the last eight years. Betty Currie who knows Socks well and shares the family's concern for Socks' well-being offered to take Socks to her home. I understand that he is quite content and settling in very quickly.

Sincerely yours,
Alice J. Pushkar
Director of Correspondence
for Senator Clinton

It'd be a bit late.

Apparently Socks moved into his new home six years ago.

I read he was a stray....he must be getting on. Helluva cute cat, though.

You can see this smear campaign is gonna be about substance, can't you?

Why not blame Chelsea, if she runs for election ever?

He was her cat, it seems.

There can be elections, and cats can find new homes...but it's never too late for an emotional breakdown.

No, indeed (makes sign to avert the evil eye), but Socks, as a cause for one, is like the proverbial lost sock in the laundromat of infinity.

I am curious if Socks is even alive. The cat would be 15 years old now which is quite old for a cat. It seems the typical life span for a house cat is 12-15 years.

We need a story on how Hillary refused to attend the cat's funeral.

No.

I don't HAVE a dryer.

Of course, one might have the notion that Murdoch's media operations exist in order to further the prospects of the Democratic party.
