Ok, youse goan havce to be more specific. Is it palm to palm or palm to back of hand? I'm confused and people are looking at me weird.

That's actually a specific ASL thing -- you make this sign:

Just once though -- tapping it twice is like "Johnny made a mistake when he goosed Sally." Doing it the way I'm talking about, ya just kinda whap yourself in the chin.

OK, you have the peace signs, right? Gotta have the peace signs for all permutations. (Those are legs, you see...) (Again, I'm actually serious...)

The regular sign is palm to palm, thumb to thumb -- think of it as missionary.

He he, I knew they were legs, while I was trying to figure it out my co workers were giving me looks like Ise a perv.

Is it true that the sign for 'P' is supposed to have the thumb sticking a wee bit out?

Yeah, my dad's fluent in ASL and he used to tell me a little something to help remember it.

"Child of Deaf Adult". More younger people are learning sign for fun/ laguage credit, but it's really rare to see an older hearing person (over 40) who is fluent in ASL without being an interpreter or CODA.

Oh, he's not CODA, I have no idea why he knows ASL. Speaks pidgin and such too. Strange bird, that fish.
