LOST is the correct tense.

Those of us with a clue never wanted you in the coalition to begin with.

I bet he wouldn't have the guts to say that in Sydney on ANZAC day. Armchair web-warrior jerkoff.

When is your next election, and how is it looking for Howard's chances?

Howard won't say...probably November sometime.

He won't say because the polls have been looking so bad for him that he is eking out his term, hoping the current smear and scare campaigns he is running will pull back Labor's lead.

Only one poll that counts.

I am assuming some sort of terror scare right before the election.

Thanks deb. Didn't realize it was so close. I just took a bit of time to read some stuff on the polling and I must say I'm pleased as punch.

I've been looking at some maps and population statistics regarding Australia and East Asia and I think it would be a mistake to lose faith in the Americans.

So, another jarhead!!

You seem to have some sense,so you couldnt have been a grunt.

I dont think the Australian people as a group are losing faith in the US, but I do think they are losing faith in their govts faith in the US (sorry if thats convoluted).

PS Halfback,
I was a Navy Corpsman for 20+ years.
I retired (medically) as a HM-1

I was a corpsman with a marine rifle company for the majority of the time I was in, so SEMPER FI

you're absolutely correct. There was a survey done recently. Australians have actually got quite a fondness for Americans as a people. But disapproval of their government and foreign policy is extremely high. We can see what more than half of the Americans who bothered to vote can't. That the shrub is a dribbling halfwit who shouldn't be allowed to run a raffle let alone a country. And our own prime minister is his pathetic little lap dog. But that worthless little ********** will be gone soon. And dribble boy will follow shortly thanks to the US constitution.

Their is also a growing belief among Australians that if a foreign power (China? Indonesia?) decided to attack Australia, America would not take action anyway because there is no overriding reason to. (read economic and/or strategic reason).

I'm not sure thats true but many people seem to believe it. I believe this is one of the reasons Howard has been so stalwart in his support of Bush in Afghanistan, ie getting the brownie point up.

Australia has 1/3 of the worlds uranium supplies Should the government decide not to sell uranium to China I believe they would just come and take it.

Would The US assist in stopping them?

Would it be forward of me to inquire whether your relationship with your mother bears a resemblance to Augustine's relationship with his?
