Isn't the blackout in the US and Canada a result of them all working in the midst of summer with their air conditioning in both homes and offices at full gear?
Seems to have arisen from wild voltage fluctuations in a power plant in Ohio. This grid has simply been built upon, layer by layer, since Tesla's first plant below Niagara Falls. It's ancient, creaky, and the possibility of a cascading shut down is just as bad now as it was in 1965.
