O'Reilly surprised "there was no difference" between Harlem restaurant and other New York restaurants

Quote:
Summary: Discussing his recent dinner with Rev. Al Sharpton at the Harlem restaurant Sylvia's, Bill O'Reilly reported that he "couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship." O'Reilly added: "There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.' "

Why is this asshat still on the air?

Because people like you watch him.
You complain about him and what he says, yet you always seem to know exactly what he said.

You must be watching him.

Your brain has betrayed you again.

I read an article, which told me what he said, which I then quoted. What about this chain of causality is difficult to follow?

I know, right? It's almost as if they might presume to serve something other than soul food at an African-American-owned restaurant, or something.

and if I have the tater salad, I don't want the smashed taters too...

ok, and I'll uh....have, um...famous talked about ribs, with extra sassy sauce please...

I always loved Sylvia's because they used to list macaroni & cheese under vegetables.

(I guess they changed it to "sides")

Oh yeah, I've got one of those husbands who considers macaroni and cheese a vegetable. Confused

And biscuts are a separate food group.

Yeah - you're right, we all know each other. So I talked to my homegirl and she said "Most of them wouldn't know soul food if it jumped up and bit 'em anyway".
