1. From the moment he saw her, he loved her.
2. Since the moment he saw her, he has loved her.
Are both sentences correct and do they have the same meaning? For sentence 2, do I have to remove 'the moment'?
Thanks.
They both have the same meaning, but the second one comes across as a bit scrappy. I'll leave it to those better in the theory of English to make any corrections.
I think there exist a little diffirence btw the 2 sentences, in the first one,we don't know if he is still loving her, from the 1st moment he saw her,he loved her, but now ? who knows ??? but in the second one,he is still loving her...

Hi Safinaz, I agree with your explanation.
Either way, he's smitten, so everyone's a winner.
