I'm one of the best guitarists, everybody knows.

Is there any error in the sentence?

Thanks.

As written, the meaning isn't clear. Do you want to say, "Everybody knows that I'm one of the best guitarists"? Or, "I'm one of the best guitarists that people know about (or have heard of)"?

Technically, the comma should eliminate that confusion, but the sentence could indeed be worded better.

So, is the sentence right? . Also, should we say error or mistake?

Thanks.

How would you reword it so that it is a better version?

Many thanks.

Both are grammatically correct. My feeling is, the more concisely something is said the better.

I would use a semicolon in lieu of the comma. If speaking, you would come to a full stop at the point where you have placed the comma.

I realize that both clauses are very short, but in this case I don't believe the comma is strong enough.

I realize I am of the old school.

Since only one of the clauses is independent, using a semicolon would be inappropriate.

I don't understand what you mean? Could you please elaborate? Which sentence are you referring to?

Thanks.

I was referring to your original post; however Gargamel took exception to my reply.
