Hello,
I realize that this is a modern phrase and Latin would not cover it but I'm hoping for something along the lines of caveat emptor (e. g. buyer beware) but when it comes to the Internet. Perhaps chooser beware or selector beware or citizen beware or something like, whatever you think is closest.
Many thanks, no rush.
My try:
Cave, optator
While "here be dragons" would sound "Hinc sunt dragones"
Optator -- is that like operator?
And, thank you.

Optator means "chooser".
If you want to say "operator" you can write it just as in English, because it is a Latin word
The meaning, however is not exactly the same: "operator" means "worker". Well, after all there was nothing like a computer at that time....
Thank you, that's a great translation. Hey, I learned something!
