News that police now believe the parents might have been involved was met with incredulity by the McCanns' friends and family. "

The words in bold mean that the McCanns' friends and family did not believe the accusation by the police that the parents have been involved in the matter. Am I right.

The McCann's found it difficult to believe that the police have accused the parents.


Yoong, why are you asking these questions? Are you learning English in school, or doing it on your own??
